Baby's First Christmas

Friday, December 25, 2015

It was our baby's 1st Christmas and everything is so much more fun having a little one... and I know it will only get better. We went and stayed with family here in California and had our Christmas Eve. & morning with them.  Our big night for my family is Christmas Eve.  We have a big traditional Swedish dinner, read Christmas books with Grammy, act out Jesus's birth and the nativity, snack on cheese and meat (Landon's Christmas addition), open gifts from Grammy, and decorate gingerbread and last but not least enjoyed Krispy Kreme. :) Since it may be our last Christmas in California we tried to soak it all up and enjoy the entire night. And for Christmas day, since Juni is just an itty bitty baby, we kept it simple and had a relaxing day as a family.

And yes, I made her wear this ridiculously cute Christmas hat all morning.  It actually was made by Emily for Avery when she was a baby 2 years ago and I get to recycle everything and love it.

We love this happy girl, she brings so much joy in our lives!

Juni did so good the entire morning and let us have fun with her "unwrapping" her gifts.  As long as she's included and can watch what we are doing she is a happy camper.

And here's a cheesy little home video for us to look back on in 15 years and remember how small she was.  For memory's sake.
